Job summary

Toca Madera Scottsdale is seeking a capable kitchen team member focused on pastries and desserts. You will assist in set up, food preparation, and maintaining high-quality dishes in a fast-paced fine-dining setting.

Must have night and weekend availability and the stamina to stand during shifts; prior fine-dining experience is preferred. This on-site role supports a vibrant dining experience in Scottsdale, AZ.

Qualifications

• Must have night / weekend availability.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of shifts.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Prior fine-dining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping fruit, or preparing sauces).
• General understanding of pastries and piping skills.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions.
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
• Stock inventory appropriately.
• Ensure that food is finished simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
