Job summary

Harry's Savoy Grill & Ballroom in Wilmington, DE is looking for a pastry cook to join Harry's Hospitality Group and produce all desserts for the restaurant and 10,000 square foot ballroom.

Requirements include 2–3 years pastry cook experience with cake decorating, ServSafe certification is a plus, ability to read, write and communicate clearly, and the stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds. Availability must include days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years pastry cook experience, including cake decorating.
• ServSafe certification is a plus.
• Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to supervisors, employees, dining room staff and guests.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to eight hours in length.
• Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, etc., up to 75 pounds in weight.
• Must possess finger dexterity to use small tools adeptly.
• Availability must include days, nights, weekends and holidays.

• The pastry cook position works alongside of the Pastry Chef to produce all desserts for the restaurant and ballroom.
