Job Details

Position: Pastry Cook (Part-time)

Role Overview

If you love expertly produced soufflés and southern biscuits, this is your chance to learn from a seasoned Pastry Chef. You will prep and bake pastries, executing the Pastry Chef's vision and honing your skills.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare all dessert and baked goods using standard recipes.
2. Follow portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies.
3. Complete daily prep and closing checklists, maintaining a clean and sanitary work station in compliance with regulations.
4. Report shortages, equipment issues, or food quality concerns promptly.

Qualifications

1. At least one year of experience in a pastry kitchen.
2. Positive attitude and team spirit.
3. Ability to understand baking and cooking instructions.
4. Effective communication skills.
5. Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
6. Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform related tasks.
