The Global Ambassador is an internationally inspired hotel created by hospitality innovator Sam Fox, located near Phoenix, Scottsdale and Paradise Valley. The 141-room property blends inspired design, world-class dining and elevated wellness in a curated destination.

Join our culinary team as a pastry cook. You will prepare high-quality dishes, maintain your station, follow the Executive Chef and Lead Cooks, uphold food safety standards, assist with prep and ingredient deliveries, and deliver

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a pastry cook in a restaurant environment.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and multi-task.
• Ability to spend long periods on your feet and lift 50lbs.
• Passion for food preparation and providing excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station
• Follow directions from the Executive Chef and Lead Cooks
• Adhere to all kitchen policies, procedures, and food safety/sanitation guidelines
• Assist with prep work and ingredient deliveries
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure timely delivery of dishes
• Maintain open communication with restaurant servers and managers
• Support the culinary team in preparing for high-volume service
