Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Wellesley, MA, is seeking a Pastry Chef to join our team on a full-time basis. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 4:00pm, at the iconic setting of Wellesley College.

Responsibilities

• Produce a variety of breads, pastries and desserts per menus and specs.
• Consult with Executive Chef on quantities and types to serve.
• Ensure themes and decors are followed.
• Provide courteous, fast and efficient customer service.
• Accommodate guests' special requests and needs.
• Maintain safe, healthy food prep environment and sanitation.
• Comply with sanitation and legal regulations.
• Develop and test recipes; write pastry menus.
• Purchase ingredients and manage inventory levels.
