Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Honolulu is looking for a Pastry Cook 3 to join the Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach kitchen. You will prepare, produce and bake a range of pastries, Danish and breads while upholding hotel standards and cost controls.

The role requires teamwork in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Responsibilities include maintaining sanitation, following recipes, and supporting higher-level pastry staff as needed on a shift basis.

Qualifications

• Experience in pastry production according to hotel standards.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen storage areas.
• Knowledge of health/sanitation regulations and safe food handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake Danish, croissants, buns, rolls, and pastries for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and storage areas.
• Follow hotel standard recipes and ensure timely production for outlets.
• Assist in banquet and buffet pastry production as needed.
• Support other kitchen stations when required.
