AlSafe Finance Kuwait is looking for an experienced Indian Pastry Chef to join their team in Washington. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing high-quality desserts that highlight the flavors of Indian cuisine.

This position requires at least 3 years of experience and a passion for Indian desserts. You will collaborate with the head chef, train staff, and develop unique dessert offerings. A salary of $1000 per week is offered for this role.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef, preferably in an Indian restaurant or bakery.
• Extensive knowledge of Indian desserts and baking techniques.
• Ability to create and accurately execute traditional recipes.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Indian Pastry Chef to join our team in Washington. As a Pastry Chef you will be responsible for creating and preparing high‑quality desserts and pastries that showcase the unique flavors and techniques of Indian cuisine.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and creative dessert menu items that showcase the flavors of Indian cuisine
• Prepare and bake a variety of desserts including traditional Indian sweets, cakes, breads, and pastries
• Ensure the quality, consistency, and presentation of all desserts
• Collaborate with the head chef to plan menus and create new dessert offerings
• Train and supervise other pastry staff members
• Maintain inventory and order necessary ingredients and supplies
• Adhere to all food safety regulations

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef, preferably in an Indian restaurant or bakery
• Extensive knowledge of Indian desserts, baking techniques, and ingredients
• Ability to create new dessert recipes while executing traditional recipes accurately
• Strong leadership skills with experience in training and supervising staff
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
• Must have excellent communication skills in English

Salary

The salary for this position is $1000 per week.
