Job summary

The U.S. Department of State's Boston Passport Agency seeks a Supervisory Program Manager, working title Assistant Director, to support the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Passport Services in directing Passport Issuance Operations.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-13 level in Federal service.
  • Experience developing new or modified administrative programs, policies, regulations, goals, or objectives.
  • Experience planning, directing and coordinating program activities related to passport adjudication, processing, anti-fraud, and acceptance functions.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in managing the passport agency/center to provide expert direction and support for all operations.
  • Oversees implementation of policies and procedures for document fraud protection and new technologies to detect passport fraud.
  • Analyzes patterns used in fraud to develop protective strategies to mitigate this activity.
  • Exercises supervisory authorities to ensure work is accomplished timely, efficiently, and effectively.
