Job summary

Foodera Technologies is seeking a dependable Passivation Technician to join our manufacturing team. This entry-level role focuses on operating and maintaining the passivation workstation, ensuring safety and quality standards.

As you gain experience, you will cross-train in industrial painting, shipping and receiving, material handling, and other processes to expand your skills and build a long-term career in manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Manufacturing or industrial experience helpful but not required.
  • Industrial painting experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Comfortable using computers to document production activities.
  • Able to safely lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and frequently bend, lift, carry, and move materials.
  • Willing to wear required PPE and safely work around industrial chemicals.
  • Flexibility to work occasional alternate shifts when business needs require.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain the passivation system, pressure washer, and related equipment.
  • Safely process parts and assemblies according to company quality standards.
  • Maintain passivation chemicals, supplies, and inventory.
  • Coordinate with equipment vendors and service providers for maintenance and consumables.
  • Record production activity and job completions using company computer systems.
  • Inspect parts and assemblies as part of the quality process.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment (training provided).
  • Assist other departments as workload requires.
  • Cross-train in shipping & receiving, general shop support, and industrial painting.
  • Train future passivation operators as experience is gained.
  • Follow all company safety policies and quality procedures.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, integrity, and pride in producing quality work.

Position Summary

We're looking for a dependable, career-minded individual to join our manufacturing team as a Passivation
Technician. This is an entry-level position with opportunities to learn additional skills and advance within the
company.



Your primary responsibility will be operating and maintaining our passivation workstation while ensuring all
work is completed safely and to our quality standards. As you gain experience, you'll have opportunities to
cross-train in industrial painting, shipping and receiving, material handling, and other manufacturing
