Job summary

MPW Industrial Services seeks a dependable Production Support Laborer to assist daily production operations, maintain workflow efficiency, and uphold a safe working environment. This hands-on role involves material handling, cleaning, and general labor tasks in an industrial setting while collaborating with team members and supervisors.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work 8–12 hour shifts, and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work 8–12 hour shifts in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

Support daily production activities to help reduce downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
Pack, sort, and load automotive parts, tooling, and production materials.
Pressure wash customer parts and equipment according to production standards.
Stack, unstack, and move materials throughout the work area safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment through routine housekeeping tasks.
Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and operational guidelines.
Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or production delays to supervisors immediately.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet customer expectations and production goals.
Operate forklifts and overhead cranes after completing required training and certification.
Follow directions from supervisors and adapt to changing production needs.
Support inventory handling and material movement as needed throughout the facility.
Assist with additional production, cleaning, or labor duties as assigned.

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, twist, and perform repetitive physical tasks during 8-12 hour shifts.
Ability to work around industrial equipment, noise, moving machinery, water, cleaning solutions, and varying temperatures.
Ability to wear required PPE including gloves, eye protection, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear.
Ability to safely operate tools, production equipment, forklifts, and overhead cranes after training.
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules based on production demands.
