Job summary

McCarthy Tire Service in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Passenger Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, tire services, and basic mechanical repairs while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced shop.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, being at least 18, a valid driver's license, and having your own tools. Tire experience is preferred. We offer weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Experience with passenger service tires preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform passenger tire installation, repair, rotation, balancing, and replacement.
• Inspect and test vehicles to identify maintenance and repair needs.
• Complete preventive maintenance services including oil changes and tune-ups.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
• Verify serviceability by test drives and system checks.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Keep shop equipment and inventory organized and available.
