McCarthy Tire Service in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Passenger Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, tire services, and basic mechanical repairs while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced shop.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, being at least 18, a valid driver's license, and having your own tools. Tire experience is preferred. We offer weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Passenger Service Technician

Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $18–$25 per hour

Job Description and Responsibilities

McCarthy Tire is seeking a motivated Passenger Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, tire services, and mechanical repairs while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform passenger tire installation, repair, rotation, balancing, and replacement
• Inspect and test vehicles to identify maintenance and repair needs
• Complete preventive maintenance services, including oil changes, filter replacements, and engine tune-ups
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions
• Verify vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives and adjusting controls and systems
• Ensure compliance with state vehicle safety, engine, and emissions requirements
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Keep shop equipment operational by performing routine maintenance and reporting repair needs
• Maintain inventory of supplies and assist with ordering as needed
• Stay current on industry knowledge through training and technical publications
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Other Duties

Additional responsibilities may arise as part of the role. Candidates should be flexible and prepared to take on new challenges as needed.

Education
