Job summary

McCarthy Tire Service in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Tire & Service Sales Associate to assist customers in selecting tires and services, provide expert recommendations, and handle invoices and scheduling. You will support payroll, inventory, and showroom upkeep in a fast-paced automotive setting.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED, customer service experience, basic computer skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Automotive knowledge or experience is strongly preferred.
Customer service experience required.
Sales experience is a plus.
Basic computer skills are required.
Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with selecting tires and services that fit their needs.
Provide in-person and phone support, explaining service recommendations clearly.
Write and process customer invoices accurately and efficiently.
Schedule service appointments and manage the weekly service calendar.
Assign work orders to technicians and track progress.
Process weekly payroll for technicians and calculate commissions.
Support inventory tracking and restocking.
Maintain a clean showroom environment.
Provide local shuttle service by driving customers after vehicle drop-off.
