Job summary

Norfolk International Airport is seeking a Passenger Boarding Bridge Technician to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, PLC components of PBBs and GSE, and to perform preventative maintenance.

This full-time role operates 2nd shift 4:30 PM–12:30 AM Friday–Tuesday with 6-month training transitioning to regular duties.

Candidates must have high school diploma, experience with CMMS, blueprints, and a valid driver's license; safety-conscious teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience in passenger boarding bridges & ground support equipment repair and maintenance.
• Experience in general building maintenance or building trades, inventory, computer maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair passenger loading bridges and ground support equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC controlled mechanical systems.
• Respond to service calls and resolve issues promptly.
• Log work orders in CMMS and perform preventive maintenance.
• Communicate with Operations and airlines; maintain a safe work environment.
