Job summary

Abba Staffing & Consulting is seeking a Passenger Boarding Bridge Maintenance Technician for our airport operations. This role performs scheduled and emergency maintenance on boarding bridges, troubleshoots electrical and mechanical issues, and may lead in the absence of senior staff.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of mechanical and/or electrical experience, the ability to work weekends, and a valid driver’s license with airport badge eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical and/or electrical experience.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and non-traditional schedules.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain airport security badge.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on boarding bridges
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with guidance from senior technicians
• Conduct inspections, adjustments, cleaning, and minor repairs
• Follow all safety policies and complete required documentation and training
• Work in confined and elevated spaces using proper PPE and fall protection
