Job summary

Plaza Audi is seeking a Parts Warehouse Assistant to help ensure accurate receipt of freight and proper placement of stock. You will file packing slips and support the Parts Department with efficient operations.

The role emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and teamwork to maintain inventory accuracy and smooth shipping processes.

Qualifications

Job description

As a Parts Warehouse Assistant at Plaza Audi, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our business and in the lives of customers every day. You will be a coachable, energetic, people‑focused individual who ensures accurate and timely receipt of freight, accurately places incoming stock in the proper locations, and files packing slips in numerical order for the Parts Department.

Responsibilities

• Manages order pulling for employees and clients
• Takes a leading role in bin organization and parts stocking
• Immediately informs management of any stock outages or discrepancies
• Assists with regular parts department inventories and selection of parts for returns
• Initiates all paperwork relating to damages, shortages, and vendor returns
• Participates in perpetual counts
• Maintains department security
• Manages all shipping processes, including shipping of warranty parts back to factory
• Maintains shipping supplies inventory; notifies Parts Manager of needed items
• Maintains separate warranty storage area organized by Repair Order (RO) sequence
• Informs manager of any irregularities in parts available for return to factory
• Ensures proper disposal of parts within factory, company, and environmental guidelines
• Coordinates activities of contract delivery drivers
• Assists with scheduling of deliveries including routing and special requests
• Takes initiative to complete tasks through innovative thinking
• Promptly notifies sales personnel and/or management of client issues, returns, or problems with drivers, and deliveries as necessary

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for three or more hours at a time
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be highly organized, computer savvy, and self‑motivated
• Must be at least eighteen years of age
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet company MVR policy requirements
• Must be able to pass pre‑employment screenings (background and drug test)
