Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group in Brandon, FL is seeking a Parts Driver – Courtesy CJDR to pick up and deliver automotive parts to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors. You will verify invoices, match them to POs, and keep deliveries timely and accurate.

We value friendly, efficient customer service, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a valid driver’s license. Pre-employment screening is required. Benefits include weekly pay, holidays and PTO, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Experience with automotive parts or military equivalent is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist all customers and associates in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Coordinate last-minute pickups or deliveries with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counter staff, or shipping/receiving clerk.
• Pickup and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
• Pull and fill orders from stock as directed.
• Verify that delivered parts match invoice and that invoice matches PO for each pickup.
• Secure and unload parts truck each night.
• Assist with stocking and posting orders to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.
• Maintain a prompt, efficient flow of paperwork and delivery schedules.

The Parts Driver is responsiblefor selecting, verifying and delivering parts to customers and/or other dealerships in the general prescribed market area of the local parts departments.

• Assist all customers and associates in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
• Checks with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counter people, or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving to coordinate any last minute pick-ups or deliveries
• Pick up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and/or vendors
• Pulls and fills orders from stock, as directed
• Ensure that parts to be delivered matches invoice, verify that invoice matches PO (purchase order) for each pick-up
• Secure and unload parts truck each night
• Assist with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts
• Maintain a prompt, efficient and timely flow of paperwork and delivery schedule
• Must be able to lift up to and over 50 pounds
• Experience with automotive parts or military equivalent experience is a plus but not required
• Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test)
