Job summary

Big Tex Trailer World is seeking a sales professional to assist in all aspects of the dealership's sales department, including trailer and parts sales. The role involves answering calls, quoting trailers, preparing paperwork, and maintaining displays and front-office organization.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of commissioned sales experience, with a valid driver's license. Domestic travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of commissioned sales experience are required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer sales calls.
• Assist customers visiting Dealership.
• Quote trailers for customers.
• Prepare sales paperwork and deliver to office administration daily for invoicing.
• Coordinate, organize and maintain the display and merchandising of the sales yard.
• Coordinate and display Parts Department.
• Assist in maintaining the general organization of the front office to project a friendly, professional appearance.
• Handle cash transactions and report to office administration per policy.
• Plan and execute outside sales calls to develop wholesale business with Store Manager direction and approval.
• Attend trade shows, sale barns, co-ops, veterinarians, farm expos, tractor pulls, etc., to drive sales.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date order file lists for all trailer and parts sold.
