Job summary

You will guide customers through the sales process and provide up-to-date product information to ensure satisfaction.

You will build rapport, handle inquiries, process pricing, and coordinate with suppliers and drivers. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience.
• Minimum 1 year technical support/troubleshooting.
• Outgoing with strong networking skills.
• Attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and service technicians by troubleshooting, quoting, ordering, and providing parts.
• Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials.
• Provide professional and friendly service to customers, suppliers, and drivers.
• Handle customer complaints tactfully and promptly.
• Answer phone calls with price quotes and information.
• Notify customers when special ordered parts have arrived.
• Create and track all activity through JobBoss software.
• Follow up on back-ordered parts.
• Verify will-call and back-order files weekly and manage vendor returns or stock.
• Assist outside sales reps with orders.
• Ensure all charge sales are signed and invoiced copies provided.
• Issue credit for parts returned with invoice reference.
• Keep current on new products and updates.
