Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide excellent service to retail and installer customers and support store management. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and will help in driving sales and customer satisfaction.

The role includes greeting customers, assisting with selections, answering calls, processing transactions, and performing daily stocking and image updates. Knowledge of automotive parts is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist in merchandise selection.
• Support store management and installer service specialists as needed.
• Answer store phone calls, look up parts, quote prices, and upsell related items.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit per policy.
• Maintain cash drawer, handle payments, and process credit card transactions.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Perform daily stocking, planogram, and image maker updates, and assist with stock adjustments.
• Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training.
• Perform in-store services (e.g., wipers, batteries) per state/local laws.
