Job summary

United Rentals in Orlando is seeking a Parts Specialist - Customer Equipment Solutions (CES) to support the parts department, ensure inventory meets customer and branch service needs, and contribute to efficient operations. The role emphasizes strong work ethic, reliability and customer service, with opportunities for advancement within the world’s largest equipment rental provider.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of retail/sales exposure is preferred.
• Superior customer service and communication skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Purchase parts from manufacturers and suppliers to maintain inventory.
• Process external and internal parts orders by invoices, inventory updates, and shipping parts as needed.
• Advise management on parts activities and future trends affecting department efficiency.
• Maintain current parts manuals, catalogs, literature and price lists for all equipment sold by the company.
• Perform other duties as needed.

As a Parts Specialist - Customer Equipment Solutions (Parts Specialist - CES) at United Rentals, you will be responsible for supporting the parts department, including the maintenance of sufficient inventory levels to meet projected parts needs of customers and the branch’s service department.

Additional duties include the following :

• Purchase parts from manufacturers and suppliers; acquire parts from other branches as-needed to maintain and replenish inventory
• Process external and internal parts orders by completing invoices, updating inventory records, verifying customer credit and shipping parts as needed
• Advise Management on parts activities, future trends and matters which affect the efficiency of the department regarding customer relations
• Maintain current parts manuals, catalogs, literature and price lists for all equipment sold by the company
• Other duties assigned as needed

Job Requirements :

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• 2+ years of retail /sales exposure
• Heavy equipment knowledge is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use technology tools to increase performance efficiency
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
