Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers and support store management with assigned tasks.

Per the job description, bilingual candidates are encouraged and the role includes cash handling, part lookups, and upselling related items while maintaining a clean, organized store and assisting with stock and planograms.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service (desired).
• ASE certification (desired).
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet retail and installer customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist with merchandise selection.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists for professional customers as needed.
• Answer store calls, look up parts, quote prices, and promote related items and Low-Price Guarantee.
• Maintain and secure cash drawer; process cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Process exchanges/returns and resolve customer complaints.
• Assist with stock updates, planogram updates, and store cleanliness.
• Perform in-store services (wipers, batteries, codes, etc.) as trained.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
