Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers and to support store management with assigned tasks. The role emphasizes greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, and executing cash handling and transactional duties with accuracy.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, and responsibilities include upselling, returns processing, and assisting with store operations and image/planogram tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist in selecting merchandise
• Promote customer service programs and related selling techniques
• Assist with professional customers and installer service specialists as needed
• Process exchanges and returns per company policy
• Handle cash, checks, and card transactions securely
• Answer store phone calls and quote prices, upsell related items
• Perform image making, planogram updates, and stock duties
• Operate test equipment after training and meet company requirements
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed
• All other duties as assigned
