Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist in McAllen, TX to provide high-level service to retail and installer customers. You will assist store management, greet customers, and help with merchandise selection while supporting various store operations.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and opportunities for professional growth are available. Responsibilities include handling cash and card transactions, returns, and inventory tasks, plus occasional on-site services like wiper

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist in merchandise selection.
• Process cash, checks and credit card transactions accurately.
• Handle exchanges and returns for credit per policies.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with planogram updates, stocking shelves, and store sanitation.
• Perform in-store services (e.g., install wipers, test batteries) as trained.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
