O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist in Texas to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers and support store management with tasks.

The role emphasizes greeting customers, advising on merchandise, processing transactions, maintaining planograms, and performing in-store services. Bilingual candidates are encouraged; ASE certification is valued and Spanish language skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs, i.e. Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot, etc.
• Greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed and directed.
• Complete assigned company training relevant to position.
• Provide excellent service to customers calling the store on the phone, lookup parts and quote prices, and offer related items and the Low-Price Guarantee.
• Maintain and secure the cash drawer, process cash/credit transactions.
• Process exchanges and returns per policy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints.
• Assist with image maker and planogram updates, stocking shelves, cleaning, etc.
• Perform daily operational tasks like returns to distribution center and stock counts.
• Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training.
• Perform in-store services (install wipers, test batteries, etc.).
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle if needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
