Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Texas is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high-level service to retail and installer customers, assist store management, and support professional customers as needed. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and training will be provided.

You will greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, process transactions, handle returns, and participate in daily store operations and safety standards. ASE certification and Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Desired: Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, Weatherly Index System, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Assist managers and installers in serving professional customers as directed.
• Answer store calls, lookup parts and quote prices, and suggest related items.
• Process exchanges and returns according to policy and maintain cash drawer.
• Drive basic in-store services such as battery testing and wiper installations (where allowed).
