Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers and support store management in daily tasks.

The role emphasizes greeting customers, assisting in merchandise selection, and handling cash/transactions while maintaining security and accuracy. Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred) are encouraged and ASE certification is valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must multitask, handling customers on the phone and in store.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification required.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and assist with merchandise selection.
• Promote and follow customer service programs.
• Assist professionals with installer services as needed.
• Process cash, checks and credit transactions accurately.
• Handle exchanges/returns per policy and resolve complaints.
• Perform stock, planogram, and image updates; stock counts.
• Conduct in-store services and small repairs as trained.
• Drive occasionally for store deliveries when needed.
