Job summary

Vermeer Midwest is seeking a Parts Specialist in Fowlerville, MI to serve as the go-to expert for heavy equipment parts and accessories. You will combine customer service with inventory and stockroom operations.

The role offers a day shift, Monday–Friday, with paid on‑the‑job training to expand your skills while collaborating with the service team to ensure accurate parts fulfillment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 1+ year in customer service
• Strong communication, time management and organizational skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and general computer proficiency
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in-store and over the phone with parts inquiries
• Use catalogs, schematics, and systems to identify needed parts
• Process incoming shipments and restock inventory
• Accurately fill customer and service department orders
• Prepare invoices, sales receipts, and related documentation
• Perform inventory checks and help maintain organized stock
• Inspect parts for defects and manager returns or substitutions

What You’ll Do

As a Parts Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert for customers needing parts and accessories for heavy equipment. This hands-on role combines customer service with inventory and stockroom operations. You’ll work closely with our service team and receive paid, on-the-job training to grow your skills.

• Assist customers in-store and over the phone with parts inquiries
• Use catalogs, schematics, and systems to identify needed parts
• Process incoming shipments and restock inventory
• Accurately fill customer and service department orders
• Prepare invoices, sales receipts, and related documentation
