Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory and stock levels in main and service truck warehouses.
  • Receive parts stock and special-order parts in a timely manner.
  • Guarantee all parts are properly tagged and stored in the appropriate bin location.
  • Help manage data analytics on parts stock values, market retail, freight cost, and restock to avoid unnecessary costs.
  • Order parts in advance for upcoming jobs.
  • Ship parts to remote technicians and customers.
  • Provide stock level and sales reports to Management.
  • Quote parts items for repairs.
  • Field customer phone calls for parts sales.
  • Look up parts for account managers and technicians.
  • Work with Parts Manager to source new suppliers to reduce costs and improve quality.
  • Ensure a safe working environment.
  • Back up shipping and receiving in unloading trucks and properly receiving shipping documents.

Parts Specialist
Position Overview

A successful Parts Specialist must be highly organized and be able to anticipate the needs of technicians and customers to ensure that all materials needed are provided accurately and on time.

Reporting Relationship
  • The Parts Specialist reports to the TW Enterprises Parts Manager
Responsibilities/Accountabilities
  • Monitor inventory and stock levels in main and service truck warehouses
  • Receive parts stock and special-order parts in a timely manner
