Job summary

Elevated is seeking a Parts Specialist to support field technicians across the network by issuing purchase orders, ordering parts, and maintaining inventory levels for modernization, service and repair teams in Atlanta, GA.

Duties include researching correct part numbers, updating inventory databases, verifying received quantities, returning items to stock or vendors, and coordinating with accounts payable on invoices.

Responsibilities

• Issue purchase order for item(s) assigning to job number to ensure correct costing.
• Updates supervisors and technicians with parts and materials delivery status.
• Coordinates the receiving of incoming materials and parts, verifying correctness of material and quantity received.
• Receiving shipping paperwork to confirm delivery.
• Returns parts and materials to inventory or vendors when needed.
• Partner with accounts payable team on receipt of invoices from vendors.
• Provides technical assistance relative to part identification, interchangeability and source availability.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities

Support field staff with parts requisitions for Modernization, Service and Repair teams including researching correct part numbers

Issue purchase order for item(s) assigning to job number to ensure correct costing

Updates supervisors and technicians with parts and materials delivery status

Coordinates the receiving of incoming materials and parts. To include verifying the correctness of material, quantity received and receiving shipping paperwork to confirm delivery

Returns parts and materials to inventory or vendors when needed

Partner with accounts payable team on receipt of invoices from vendors

Provides technical assistance relative to part identification, interchangeability and source availability

Performs other duties as assigned
