Job summary

XPO is hiring a Shop Customer Service Representative to support shop operations, coordinating with management and vendors, and ensuring accurate CMMS data and timely purchasing. You will manage parts flow, invoicing, and inventory while delivering strong service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2 years of customer service experience, ability to work varied shifts including weekends, and a preference for experience in transportation or vehicle maintenance contexts.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, and occasional after-hours and/or weekends.
• Preferred qualifications: transportation industry experience.
• Preferred qualifications: experience in a vehicle maintenance shop.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between shop management, external vendors and category management.
• Review, update, and enter data related to shop cost and supply in CMMS.
• Communicate with vendors about preauthorized repairs, shipping parts, PO creation and closing invoices.
• Inventory control: cycle counts, on-hand parts, refunds, credits.
• Monitor work orders and reports for compliance.
• Create and close purchase orders and Pro numbers for shipments.
• Coordinate with A/P for timely remittance.
• Support shop staff with other duties.
