Job summary

Morrie’s Auto Group in Minnetonka, MN is hiring for an entry-level Parts Department Associate. You will count and inspect shipments, verify orders, and maintain parts inventory while supporting a busy retail/wholesale environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least one year in a parts department, and a valid driver’s license. Training on company systems provided, with strong communication and accuracy expectations.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• One year of experience in a retail or wholesale parts department.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to interpret vendor catalogs and use parts department computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Count, weigh or measure items on shipments and verify information against invoices and orders.
• Determine shipment methods using knowledge of routes and rates.
• Keep bins, aisles and storage areas clean and labeled.
• Inspect incoming shipments, record shortages and coordinate with shippers to rectify damages.
• Ensure outgoing shipments meet specifications and maintain receiving/shipping records.
• Operate heavy machinery as needed (forklift, pallet jack).
