Job summary

Peak Thermo King is seeking a Part-Time Parts and Service Advisor in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The role involves maintaining parts department processes, handling customer interactions, and coordinating with shop technicians to ensure timely parts for repairs.

You will use proprietary software to manage inventory, answer inquiries, finalize sales, and process orders from phone, walk-in, and online requests. A background check and pre-employment drug screen are required, with 2–3 years’ experience

Responsibilities:

• Maintain established effective parts department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Use proprietary software to lookup, manage and sell our parts inventory.
• Customer interaction, answering phones, answering questions, finalizing sales and updating customers.
• Fulfill all phone, walk-in, and online customer requests for parts & service.
• Interact with shop technicians providing parts for repairs.
• Oversee customer work orders from creation to close and invoicing.
• Place orders with suppliers.
• Maintain daily shipping and receiving.
• Complete and file all parts department paperwork.
• Maintain communication with customers on parts ordering, wait times, and provide updates as needed.
• Ensure ongoing efficiencies and improvement of the department by making updates and responding to new developments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Sales and customer service skills.

Education and/or Experience:
