Hutson, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused retail associate for the parts department in Indiana. You will assist customers, identify parts, and use catalogs to ensure correct items are sold and invoiced per company guidelines.

The role emphasizes inventory control, merchandising, and timely service, with a team-oriented environment and opportunities to contribute to sales goals. A HS diploma and prior parts experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail sales experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Parts training or industry experience preferred.
• Understanding of mechanical and technical terms.
• Knowledge of parts operating systems preferred.
• Ability to work with various computer software packages (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; customer-focused attitude.

Responsabilités

• Assist in keeping parts department clean and professional.
• Record all sales and customer transactions using company systems.
• Maintain retail sales floor and displays to meet dealership standards and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with inventory control and report discrepancies.
• Ensure customers receive correct parts in a timely manner.
• Stay current on industry and product information.
• Mark and store parts in stockroom and assist with cycle counts.
• Participate in team UNITY meetings and leadership meetings to align on goals.
• Support management in pursuing company policies and long-term objectives.
