Job summary

Taylor Sudden Service (SSI), part of the Taylor Group of Companies, is seeking a high performing Outside Sales professional to own a field-based role across our Saraland Branch, AL and surrounding areas including Montgomery. This is not an inside desk role and requires active field engagement.

You will drive generator parts, service, rentals, and rebuilds, grow a book of business, and represent SSI at industry events.

Qualifications

• Proven outside sales / territory management experience.
• Background in industrial equipment, power generation, or service-based sales.
• Strong relationship builder who can win trust and close business.
• Self-starter who operates with urgency, discipline, and a customer-first mindset.
• Comfortable being on the road, in front of customers, and owning your results.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of generator parts, service, rentals, and rebuilds across all makes and models.
• Grow and manage a book of business within your assigned territory.
• Develop new accounts while strengthening existing customer relationships.
• Quote services in the field and act as the trusted advisor to your customers.
• Represent SSI at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
• Partner cross-functionally with Power Systems and Industrial teams to uncover opportunities.
• Execute strategies to expand generator service and rental revenue.
