Job summary

Taylor Sudden Service (SSI), part of the Taylor Group of Companies, is seeking a high performing Outside Sales professional to own a territory in Baton Rouge, LA market. You will drive generator parts, service, rentals and rebuilds, and build a book of business across all makes and models.

This field-based role requires a proven sales track record, relationship building, and the ability to win new accounts while servicing existing customers.

Qualifications

• Proven outside sales / territory management experience.
• Background in industrial equipment, power generation, or service-based sales.
• Strong relationship builder who can win trust and close business.
• Self-starter who operates with urgency, discipline, and a customer-first mindset.
• Comfortable being on the road, in front of customers, and owning your results.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of generator parts, service, rentals, and rebuilds across all makes and models.
• Grow and manage a book of business within your assigned territory.
• Develop new accounts while strengthening existing customer relationships.
• Quote services in the field and act as the trusted advisor to your customers.
• Represent SSI at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
• Partner cross-functionally with Power Systems and Industrial teams to uncover opportunities.
• Execute strategies to expand generator service and rental revenue.
