The role focuses on expanding customer base and maintaining existing accounts within a defined territory. Responsibilities include field quotes, trade show participation, and collaboration with sales reps to grow service opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Occasional overnight travel to out-of-town locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales of equipment, generator parts, service, rentals, and rebuilds.
• Provide quotes for services in the field and develop customer relations.
• Develop new customers in the assigned territory while maintaining current accounts.
• Attend industry trade shows and conferences to strengthen the company brand.
• Create strategies for generator service and rental growth and work with sales reps to secure opportunities.
• Provide weekly call reports to the Sudden Service Manager.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Generates sales of equipment & generator parts, service, rentals, and rebuilds on Taylor Forklift and generator make and models
• Quotes services in the field and work with all customer relations.
• Develop new customers in assigned territory while maintaining current accounts.
• Attending and working industry trade shows and conferences to strengthen the company brand and develop customer relationships.
• Create and implement strategies for generator service and rental growth.
• Work closely with the sales representatives to develop a relationship with their customers to gain service opportunities.
• Incumbent is to provide a detailed call report to the Sudden Service Manager weekly to discuss customer concerns and demands in the field.
• Maintains and submits accurate and timely expense reports.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Required Skills/Abilities:

• Basic knowledge of computers
• Excellent communication skills
• Possess tact and diplomacy with customer base and peers.
• Incumbent must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record, since employees will be driving company owned vehicle and will be covered under corporate insurance which has strict coverage requirements.
• Incumbents will be required on occasion to stay overnight at out-of-town locations.

Education and Experience:

• High School Education or GED equivalent
• Sales experience preferred.
