Job summary

MSCCN in Wisconsin is seeking a motivated Parts Associate to deliver outstanding customer service in our store. You will help customers identify and locate parts, respond with clarity, and contribute to a welcoming showroom experience.

The role involves loading and unloading trucks, basic computer operations, and assisting with stocking, merchandising, and orders. You should be able to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for long periods, and multitask across multiple customers and requests.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with customers; agricultural/lawn equipment familiarity helpful but not required.
• Strong communication with customers and co-workers; good listening and verbal skills; professional phone etiquette.
• Ability to utilize the computer for day-to-day operations and basic inventory tasks.
• Self-motivated and able to prioritize daily workload in a parts department.
• Aptitude for multitasking with multiple orders and customers.
• Ability to lift items up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or department head.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and solve problems for each customer.
• Identify parts requested or needed and locate them in the system.
• Create a positive showroom experience through attitude, helpfulness, clarity and initiative.
• Assist with marketing parts on showroom merchandise displays.
• Load and unload trucks; forklift operation as needed (certification can be provided).
• Verify receipts for shipments and assist with placing machine down and stock orders in inventory locations.
• Greet customers promptly and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
• Engage in cold calling to generate additional business by phone or in person.
• Maintain inventory of parts bins during off-peak times.

Responsibilities

• Performing optimum customer service to problem solve for each and every customer.
• Identifying what parts a customer requests or asks you to find on the computer system.
• Create a positive experience for all customers through attitude, helpfulness, clarity, and innovation.
• Assists with marketing parts on showroom merchandise displays.
• Loading and unloading of trucks with forklift. Forklift certification can be provided by employer.
• Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations.
• Greeting customer immediately when they enter the store and direct them to appropriate person or department.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
