Job summary

Control-Souther is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver exceptional customer service, provide technical parts support, and drive sales within an assigned territory. You will collaborate with Account Managers, Application Engineers, and Service Teams to identify opportunities and guide customers through the lifecycle of their equipment.

The role combines customer service, technical problem-solving, and sales support in a growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

Associate degree preferred, or high school diploma with relevant customer service, sales support, or technical experience.
Strong customer service mindset with a passion for helping customers succeed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with MS Office apps, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience with Microsoft Teams and Webex.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for customers regarding aftermarket parts inquiries, quotations, orders, returns, and documentation.
Deliver an exceptional customer experience that drives satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers within an assigned territory.
Manage customer expectations through proactive communication and timely updates.
Identify opportunities, qualify customer needs, and provide effective solutions to drive growth.
Prepare accurate quotations and actively follow up to secure business.
Collaborate with Account Managers, Application Engineers, and Service Teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Present options and recommendations to improve reliability and asset longevity.
Utilize knowledge of current and legacy equipment to identify replacement parts.
Develop spare parts lists and provide guidance on maintenance and lifecycle planning.
Advise customers when equipment reaches end of life and suggest replacements.
Research and resolve customer questions related to parts, applications, and order requirements.
Manage and support the complete order fulfillment process from quotation through invoicing and payment.
Coordinate product assembly, shipment, invoicing, and order tracking.
Escalate critical orders and resolve issues to meet commitments.
Maintain detailed customer, order, and vendor records.
Partner with internal teams to support department and company growth.
Develop relationships with manufacturer and supplier partners.
Assist with special pricing requests, expedited deliveries, and technical inquiries.
Share product and application knowledge to support team success and customer outcomes.
