Job summary

GLS North America is seeking a detail-oriented Parts and Materials Coordinator to manage deliveries, inventory, and new program launches across multiple locations. You’ll ensure accurate logging in Excel, proper labeling, and seamless shipping for events and locations.

Role supports off-site GLS locations and warehouse upkeep. Competitive hourly pay with benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must have DOT/Chauffer's License.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Customer service oriented.
Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities.
Self-starter with initiative.
Reliable team player.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook preferred.
Hi-Lo experience preferred, willing to learn.

Responsibilities

Handle all receiving deliveries: FedEx, UPS, and Central Transportation.
Inventory count of received parts, logging inventory into Excel.
Label and store parts in correct locations.
Identify new programs, organize parts by part numbers, label and prep launches.
Package, invoice and create shipping labels for outbound parts.
Be the point of contact for parts requests from other GLS locations.
Travel to off-site locations for delivery when required (GLS Paint Shop, GLS Romulus, GM Tech Center).
Maintain warehouse cleanliness.
Adhere to GLS DRIVEN values and SAS mission and vision.
