Job summary

GLS North America is seeking a Parts and Materials Coordinator to manage all incoming and outgoing deliveries, inventory received parts, and support new program launches across multiple locations. You will help move parts between GLS sites and maintain warehouse cleanliness.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 6am to 2:30pm. The role requires a valid driver’s license, a DOT/Chauffer’s license, strong written and verbal communication, customer service focus, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• DOT/Chauffer's license required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Customer service oriented.
• Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities.
• Self-starter and reliable team player.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook preferred.
• Hi-Lo experience preferred; willingness to learn Hi-Lo required.

Responsibilities

• Handle all receiving deliveries: FedEx, UPS, and Central Transportation.
• Inventory count of received parts and logging into Excel.
• Label and store parts in their correct location.
• Identify new incoming programs, organize parts by part numbers, label, and prepare for launch.
• Pull and export parts for programs, package appropriately, create invoices and shipping labels.
• Point of contact for parts requests from other GLS locations.
• Travel to off-site locations for delivery when required: GLS Paint Shop, GLS Romulus, GM Tech Center.
• Uphold warehouse cleanliness.
• Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service’s DRIVEN values and align with SAS mission.
