Job summary

Suburban Automotive Services is seeking a Parts and Materials Coordinator to handle parts operations, work with technicians to identify the right parts, and manage ordering, tracking, and invoicing as parts are received.

Responsibilities include updating GM ECVMs, billing parts to the correct accounts, and ensuring accuracy in NetSuite. The role emphasizes SAS DRIVEN values and independent, team-oriented work.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old to drive company vehicles.
• Must have dealer or service parts knowledge.
• Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Must have exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Must be customer service oriented.
• Must have exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
• Must be a reliable team player.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

As a Parts and Materials Coordinator, you will execute the responsibilities for the parts operation, work with the technicians to identify the correct parts for the job, order, track and invoice as parts are received and uphold the standards for GM safety and SAS Values.

Salary Overview

The pay rate for this role starts at $16 per hour based on experience.

Hours

The hours for this role are Monday through Friday 6am to 2:30pm.

Parts and Materials Coordinator Working Conditions and Physical Demands include:

• Exposure to fumes, chemicals, and automotive fluids.
• This position is performed both inside and outside so weather conditions may include extreme heat and cold.
• This position is continually active and requires standing, walking, bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, all day.
• Must frequently lift and/or move items up to 30 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
