Job summary

CIT Trucks, LLC is seeking a Parts Manager to lead the parts department across our Midwest operations. The role requires overseeing inventory, ordering, distribution, and cross-department collaboration to ensure parts availability.

You will manage supplier relationships, stock levels, and staff, while implementing policies to keep costs in line with budget. A strong customer focus and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
• 3 years of experience in parts management or a related field.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the parts department, including inventory, ordering, and distribution of parts.
• Ensure that the department runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure that parts are available when needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure that the department is well-stocked.
• Train and supervise parts department staff.
• Ensure that all parts are properly labeled and stored.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the parts department.
• Ensure that all parts are properly accounted for and that the department operates within budget.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to interview, screen, and hire employees.
