Job summary

Nucar Nissan of Keene is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to lead our busy parts operation. This role offers an opportunity to drive strategic growth in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment within the Nucar family of dealerships.

You will forecast goals, manage staff, and control the annual budget while maintaining strong relationships with retail, wholesale, and internal customers to boost profitability and growth.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in automotive parts experience.
• 1–3 years in dealership supervisory/management roles.
• Experience in high-volume parts operations.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and managerial skills with an analytical mindset.
• Previous automotive sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Forecast financial goals and departmental objectives and implement strategies to meet them.
• Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor parts department staff.
• Prepare and manage the annual operating budget to maximize profitability.
• Oversee inventory turns, minimize obsolescence, and daily operations.

As a core member of our leadership team, you will oversee a high-volume retail and wholesale parts operation. If you possess a detail-oriented, analytical approach to business and boast excellent customer relations skills, we want to talk to you.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Growth: Forecast financial goals and departmental objectives, implementing driven strategies to consistently meet them.
• Team Management: Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all parts department staff.
• Budgetary Control: Prepare, administer, and monitor an annual operating budget to maximize parts department profitability and efficiency.
• Operational Performance: Oversee inventory turns, minimize obsolescence, and rigorously control daily departmental operations.
• Customer Relations: Establish and maintain positive working relationships with retail, wholesale, and internal customers to drive repeat and referral business.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of automotive parts-related experience.
• Leadership: 1 to 3 years of Dealership Supervisory/Management experience.
• Volume Mastery: Proven success operating within a high-volume dealership environment.
• Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and managerial skills paired with an analytical mindset.
• Preferences: Previous automotive sales experience is highly helpful.
