Southwest Material Handling in Mira Loma, CA is seeking a Parts Inventory Specialist to support daily parts department operations and maintain inventory accuracy while ensuring warehouse and counter area efficiency.

The role focuses on maintaining inventory turns, supervising and training staff, and upholding strong customer service for internal technicians and external customers. A High School diploma and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; college courses in business administration preferred.
• Experience in parts department, retail, or warehouse is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Implement inventory control procedures to ensure proper stocking levels and efficiencies.
• Develop plans to improve revenues and profitability.
• Demonstrate high level of customer service with internal and external customers.
• Process parts distribution and sales to internal technicians and over-the-counter customers.
• Respond to and fulfill customer/technician inquiries.
• Ensure proper billing procedures to ensure timely payment of parts.
• Identify and develop major account customers to increase revenue.
• Support marketing efforts within the department.
• Develop strong working relationships with other departments and dealer support personnel.
