Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking an Inventory Stock Associate to maintain accurate inventory, efficient product flow, and a clean, organized store environment. The role involves receiving and posting freight, cycle counts, shelving, and accurate order pulling for delivery drivers, will-call, and customers.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year stocking experience, basic computer and part-number identification skills, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience stocking, loading, or pulling.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to identify part numbers and line codes quickly.
• Must be literate and able to write legibly.
• Able to operate a computer terminal.

Responsibilities

• Pulls all orders to be delivered by our drivers to wholesale customers, and for main counter retail/wholesale customers and will-call.
• Receive, post, stock, and organize incoming merchandise; maintain shelving and product placement.
• Conduct cycle counts and support inventory accuracy and record maintenance.
• Perform housekeeping, packing material disposal, and area-specific organization while following safety rules.
• Use inventory systems for coordination, dispatching support, and fulfillment efficiency.
• Assist customers via phone or in-person as volume requires; provide basic support or escalate as needed.
• Coordinate and dispatch deliveries, pull and prepare orders for customers and drivers.
• Support store operations and team tasks to improve efficiency.
