Job summary

Genuine Parts Company in Plain City, OH is seeking an Inventory Stock Associate to maintain accurate inventory, support freight posting, and ensure a clean, organized store environment. You will pull orders for drivers and for counter customers, receive and stock merchandise, conduct cycle counts, and use inventory systems to coordinate fulfillment and improve store operations.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 60 pounds, basic computer skills, and a customer‑driven mindset to assist

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year stocking, loading, or pulling experience.
• Ability to identify part numbers and line codes quickly.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and push/pull 300 pounds.
• Basic computer literacy and use of inventory systems.
• Customer service orientation and willingness to assist drivers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Pulls all orders to be delivered by drivers to wholesale customers.
• Pulls for main counter retail/wholesale customers and will-call, routing products accordingly.
• Receive, post, stock, and organize incoming merchandise; maintain shelving and product placement.
• Conduct cycle counts and support inventory accuracy and record maintenance.
• Perform housekeeping and safety compliance per rules and hazardous materials handling.
• proficiently use inventory systems for coordination, dispatching support, and fulfillment efficiency.
• Periodically assist customers by phone or in person as volume requires.
• Utilize delivery management systems to coordinate and dispatch deliveries.
• Contribute to store operations and team support tasks to optimize performance.
