Job summary

Genuine Parts Company in Santa Clara, CA is seeking an Inventory Stock Associate to maintain accurate inventory, control stock flow, and ensure a clean, organized store environment. You will receive, post, stock, and organize merchandise, while assisting customers and coordinating deliveries.

The role requires the ability to identify part numbers, lift up to 60 pounds, and operate basic computer systems. Starting wage is competitive and offers benefits and growth within the NAPA store operations

Qualifications

• At least 1 year previous experience stocking, loading, or pulling.
• High School Diploma, or equivalent experience, required.
• Must be able to identify part numbers and line codes accurately.
• Must be able to move parts up to 60 pounds and stand for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Pulls all orders for delivery by drivers to wholesale and retail customers and will-call.
• Receive, post, stock, and organize incoming merchandise; maintain shelving and placement.
• Conduct cycle counts and support inventory accuracy and record maintenance.
• Perform housekeeping and safety compliance, including hazardous materials handling.
• Use inventory systems for dispatching support and fulfillment efficiency.
• Assist customers by phone or in person as needed.
• Coordinate and dispatch deliveries using delivery management systems.
• Support store operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
