Genuine Parts Company in Ohio is seeking an Inventory Stock Associate focused on accurate inventory, efficient product flow, and a clean store environment. Responsibilities include receiving freight, posting stock, cycle counts, shelving, and fulfilling orders for drivers, counter customers, and will-call.

The role requires basic computer skills, the ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and the stamina to stand during shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year stocking, loading, or order pulling experience.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to identify part numbers and source correct parts quickly.

Responsibilities

• Pulls all orders for delivery drivers, counter customers, and will-call as accurately as possible.
• Receive, post, stock, and organize incoming merchandise; maintain shelving and placement.
• Conduct cycle counts and support inventory accuracy and record maintenance.
• Perform housekeeping and adhere to safety rules, including hazardous materials handling.
• Use inventory systems for coordination, dispatching support, and fulfillment efficiency.
• Assist customers by phone or in person as needed; provide basic support or escalate when required.
• Coordinate and dispatch deliveries and pull/prepare orders for customers and drivers.
• Support store operations and stock/merchandising efficiency.
• Contribute to process improvements and adherence to inventory standards.
