Reliable Transmission Service in Houston, TX is seeking a Parts Clerk to support remanufacturing operations and the vehicle service department. The role requires daily interaction with customers, vendors, and coworkers to manage inventory, perform job costing, and handle office administration.

Essential duties include placing purchase orders, over-the-counter sales, inventory control, pulling parts for mechanics, and ensuring accurate paperwork and timely shipping.

Qualifications

• Requires accuracy and thoroughness in handling paperwork and records.
• Experience with inventory management and order processing is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety and security procedures and maintain punctuality and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Follows all policies and procedures.
• Preparing all purchase orders.
• Phone sales/Parts over the counter.
• Set and manage reorder levels on all inventory & Shop supplies.
• Pull parts for mechanics.
• Enter parts to repair orders and perform job costing.
• Ensure cleanliness of the stock room.
• Unload cores from all trucks.
• Document incoming cores and paperwork.
• Responsible for crediting, invoicing cores and core damage.
• Shipping and receiving via UPS/USPS/Freight Load.
• Print RO Parts lists and keep RO parts up to date.
• Track and manage RTS warranty repairs.
• Invoice and ship orders-Parts.
• Receive and stock shelves with all orders.
• Quote orders for parts prices.
• Handle receiving and invoicing paperwork.
• Pick up and Deliver parts, equipment, transmissions and vehicles.
• Follow up on parts and materials needed to complete tasks.
• Complete sales orders for corresponding repairs.
• Schedule teardown of Cores and repairs.
• Ensure parts and materials are available for scheduled repairs.
